Then there is the cream Standard Poodle, which can look like a very very pale apricot. Sometimes their ears will remain an apricot colour and their body coat will fade. Some white Standard Poodles are born with with apricot/cream ears which fade out to white when they mature in age.  Skin pigmentation in white Standard Poodles can vary from a pink skin to a dark silvery skin when shaved. Their noses should be black but sometimes will go brown as they mature with age. White Standard Poodles do get what we call a “winter nose”, where it fades out to a brown colour in winter due to the lack of sunshine and usually darken up again in summer time. Very few white Standard Poodles have no pigmentation at all.
